Delivery Policy


Yappy Tails is a walk in store based in Centurion, Johannesburg and all products are shipped from this Store. We strive to deliver your parcel in the quickest possible time as we know how important this package is to you.


We make use of external Courier companies that are vetted by us to ensure you get the best possible service and ensure your order arrives in the best possible condition.


Although we aim to have your order with you the next day, things do happen that are outside of our control, so please always allow up to 72 hours (3 working days) for your delivery to reach you. Please note that should you be in an outlying area, your order may take longer. Your order will only be processed for shipping after the funds reflect in our bank account.


The courier company will deliver to the address provided when placing the order, please include as much information as possible for the courier company to deliver (for example, building number or building name). Please ensure you provide a DAYTIME physical address for delivery.


Please also add clear delivery instructions when checking out if there are certain conditions we need to follow. If the order is being delivered to a residential address, please ensure you take into account when someone will be home to sign for the package. If no one is home to sign for it, the courier has been instructed to return the parcel to Yappy Tails and not leave the parcel unattended.  If no instructions are given to Yappy Tails when placing the order, we will assume that the parcel can be sent as soon as it’s ready.


If the courier has attempted to deliver the parcel and has been unable to do so due to the residence / business being closed or vacant, or if the address provided was incorrect, you will be charged a re-delivery fee of R75, this will be for your account and will be payable before the shipment is resent. Free delivery is only valid for gauteng. For deliveries outside gauteng, please contact Yappy Tails for pricing. 


Stock Shortages / Discontinuation

Should a product you have ordered be Temporarily unavailable, we will notify you thereof as well as the anticipated delay in delivery and, unless you agree to wait for such longer period for delivery, or accept delivery of another product instead, Yappy Tails will issue a refund of that product to you for the price paid for the product (plus any additional charges applied*).


Should a product be discontinued / Permanently unavailable we will notify you and, unless you agree to accept another product instead, Yappy Tails will issue a refund of that product to you for the price paid for the product (plus any additional charges applied*).


*Delivery fees will not be refunded if the unavailable item(s) are part of an order which included items that will still be delivered.


Delivery Times are Mondays to Fridays from 08h00-17h00


Where possible, we will try and accommodate specific delivery times and days between Monday and Friday. However, this can only be confirmed by our customer services team after your order has been received and paid for. Courier companies unfortunately cannot guarantee specific times that they will deliver your parcel, but it will be during working hours from a Monday to Friday. If you want your parcel delivered only on a specific day (eg. a Monday or Wednesday), please make a note of this in the comment block when placing your order and we will do our best to have this arranged.


If your parcel is damaged upon delivery:

As we make use of external Courier companies, we cannot promise that the parcel will reach you the same condition that it left us. As we have vetted only the best courier companies, this rarely happens, but if it does, please contact us straight away. If you can see that the package exterior is damaged upon receipt, please mention this on the waybill when signing for it.  Should the contents be damaged, we will replace the damaged items for you at no extra cost. Please keep the items the same way you received it, please do not use the product if it is being returned as this will void the arrangement and we cannot replace the product for you.


If the wrong items are sent or something is missing please contact us immediately and we will investigate the problem and will rectify the order urgently.
